Seed Savers Exchange
Mike Bollinger is currently serving as the Executive Director at Seed Savers Exchange since September 2022. Prior to this, Mike has had a solid background in agriculture, with roles such as Co-Owner at RIVER ROOT FARM, Agriculture Consultant, Agriculture Specialist & Co-Founder at Four Season Tools, and Farm Director at Heritage Prairie Farm. Mike also holds degrees in Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, and in Psychobiology and Philosophy from Luther College.

Seed Savers Exchange is a nonprofit organization leading in preserving and distributing heirloom vegetables, herbs, flowers and plants. Seed Savers Exchange is a member supported organization of gardeners and plant collectors who save and share heirloom seeds, thereby preserving our garden heritage. At the 890-acre Heritage Farm near Decorah, Iowa, we maintain one of the largest collections of open-pollinated heirloom varieties in the United States.
