Zainab is a vast and shrewd professional with several achievements to her name.

She has expert and hands-on knowledge on Impact Finance and Investment, Blended Finance, and Emerging Best Practices in Agriculture Financing.

She currently heads Investment & Portfolio Management, Agricultural Value Chain Finance & Investment Services of the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL Plc.) – a $500million Non-Bank Financial Institution wholly-owned by the CBN.

Through her effort, the agriculture sector in Nigeria has attracted non-bank funding from FDIs, LDIs, Private Equity and Venture Capital funding as well as capital market investment and PPP Investment opportunities.

She has successfully structured funding options to viable agricultural projects via blended finance and impact development funds.

She is a member of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group with focus on Trade, Investment and Competitiveness Policy.

Zainab has also contributed to the enhancement of bilateral agreements between Nigeria and other countries for possible agribusiness opportunities via review and recommendations of bilateral agreements.

A diversity advocate, Zainab loves to mentor and coach young and aspiring professionals in her field.
