Nitiya Walker has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nitiya is currently serving as a 2022 NYC CUP Fellow at the Council of Urban Professionals. Prior to this, they founded and directed Seeds of Fortune Inc., a scholarship non-profit and EdTech platform that has helped over 500 young women of color secure $15 million in scholarships and grants. Nitiya also managed a board of directors consisting of 6 Fortune 500 company executives.
Nitiya worked at Insider Intelligence, where they held multiple roles including Corporate Account Director, Corporate Account Manager, and Client Success Manager. In these positions, they managed over 60 Fortune 500 accounts, generating more than $1 million in revenue. Nitiya built strong relationships with executives, serving as a trusted advisor for customer retention and churn prevention.
Nitiya's earlier experience includes working at Viacom, where they participated in the RISE Rotation Program and served as a Red Carpet Public Relations Escort at BET Networks. Nitiya also worked at MTV Networks/Logo as an Analyst, Music Strategy, and at Bloomberg Newsroom as a Radio Intern. Nitiya interned at Viacom as a Summer Associate Digital Researcher and MTV Scratch Intern. Nitiya's first professional experience was at Thomson Reuters, where they interned as a Strategic Talent Intern.
Throughout their career, Nitiya has demonstrated their skills in strategic planning, relationship building, revenue generation, and data analysis. Nitiya has a strong track record of driving growth and making significant contributions to their respective organizations.
