Alana Siegner

Founder And Co-director at Climate Farm School

Alana Siegner is the Founder and Co-Director of Climate Farm School since January 2024, and previously served as the Director of Climate Farm School at Terra.do from May 2020 to March 2024. Alana's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Energy and Resources Group from the University of California, Berkeley, attained in 2019, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Environmental Studies from Tufts University, completed in 2012. Additional experience includes a role as a Sustainable Agriculture Intern at Lopez Community Land Trust in 2015, managing a vegetable plot in 2017, and serving as a National Teaching Fellow at Citizen Schools from 2012 to 2014. Alana also participated in community health research as a Summer Scholar with Tufts University and interned with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection focused on lead testing outreach initiatives.

We create transformative experiences on working farms that educate and inspire individuals to use their skills to support the transition to organic regenerative agriculture. Participants reconnect to the land, develop community, and leave equipped as champions of food system transformation.
