Paula Garcia-Malpica has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries and roles. Paula began their career as a Finance & Budget Analyst at Bolsa de Valores de Lima, where they led the implementation process of Hyperion Financial Planning Software and analyzed and prepared budgets. Subsequently, they worked as a Taxes professional at Siemens, where they enhanced data analysis processes and conducted accounts analysis.

Paula's interest in research led their to become an Associate Researcher at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, where they supported projects related to financial inclusion and conducted field research in different regions of Peru. Paula furthered their research experience as a Professional Researcher at Universidad de Sevilla, where they developed a project on environmental taxes for sustainable development.

In 2018, Paula joined 1551 Incubadora de Empresas Innovadoras as a Project Analyst & Coordinator. Paula optimized operational processes, launched an incubation and acceleration program, and facilitated partnerships between startups and enterprise allies.

Paula's commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs led their to become a Mentor for Women Entrepreneurs at WISE Women in STEM Entrepreneurship in 2021.

Paula then transitioned to Swisscontact in 2020 as a Program Officer, contributing to program implementation and management.

More recently, Paula has been actively involved in the startup ecosystem. Paula joined Seedstars as an Operations Manager, where they achieved sales and community targets, implemented CRM tools, and improved client satisfaction. Paula also held roles as a Program Manager and a Regional Programs Manager, driving acceleration and investment readiness programs across Latin America. Currently, they serve as the Regional Manager for Latin America at Seedstars.

In addition to their work in startups, Paula co-founded enlaza and is involved with Diversity VC as part of the Latam Chapter. Paula'sextensive background showcases their expertise in business development, program management, research, and mentorship.

Paula Garcia-Malpica's education history includes a Research Fellow position at Universidad de Sevilla in 2018, where they focused on a Tax & Economy Master Project. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Accounting with a specialization in Tax Management at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Paula has obtained various certifications, including "Growth for Startups" from Platzi in June 2021, "Inbound Sales" from HubSpot in July 2020, "Scrum Master Professional Certificate (SMPC)" from CertiProf in March 2020, "Inbound Marketing" from HubSpot Academy in November 2019, "Product Management" from KURIOS in October 2019, "Design Sprint" from LAPSUS Innovation Sandbox in April 2019, and "Environmental Law Conference" from Universidad de Sevilla in May 2018.
