Julia Simmons

Julia Simmons has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Julia started their career as a Paediatric Pharmacist at Barts and The London NHS Trust in 1996 and later became a Paediatric Nutrition Pharmacist. In 2000, they joined Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a Paediatric Pharmacist and worked there for 14 years. In 2010, Julia moved on to Pharmaceutical Press and served as a Member of the Formulary Committee of BNFC. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a DDI+ Clinical Pharmacist at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Most recently, Julia joined Mediseen eHealth in 2018 and took on several roles including Clinical Team Lead and Clinical Lead, Innovation Hub.

Julia Simmons obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Sc.) degree from The University of Manchester in 1995. From 1996 to 2004, they pursued a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy at The School of Pharmacy, University of London, specializing in Clinical Pharmacy, Paediatric, and Nutrition. Currently, they are enrolled at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, working towards a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree in Clinical Pharmacy, which they will complete in either 2022 or 2023.
