Kapeel Deo

Kapeel Deo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kapeel started their career with Bosch Australia as a Student Engineer in 2004 and worked there for a year. Kapeel then moved on to AutoCRC, where they served as an FPGA Engineer, collaborating on a speech enhancement algorithm project. After that, they joined Continental as an Electronic Design Engineer and later became a Senior Electronic Design Engineer and a Software Project Manager. In 2013, Kapeel started their own company, providing engineering services including hardware, software, and mechanical work. During this time, they developed an iOS application and worked on RC nitro engine remote smart start with motor and glow plug control. In 2014, they briefly worked as a Test Engineer at Ford. Kapeel then joined SAE - Australasia as an SAE-A Instructor, teaching a course on "CAN for Vehicle Applications." Currently, Kapeel is working at Seeing Machines as the Head of Data Engineering and also has previous roles as Director - Global Program Management, Software Team Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Senior Embedded Software Engineer.

Kapeel Deo earned a Double Degree in Microelectronics, with a Master of Microelectronics and a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering, from LaTrobe University between 2002 and 2008. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2001, they attended Wodonga Secondary College, where they excelled in Mathematics and achieved the title of "Dux".
