Leonardo E. has extensive work experience in the field of machine learning engineering and data engineering. Leonardo is currently working at Seek as a Sr. Machine Learning Engineer/Data Engineer. Prior to that, they held a similar role at the same company. Before their time at Seek, Leonardo worked at CitiusTech as a Data Engineer/Cloud Developer, where they played a crucial role in the migration of Mayo Clinic's AI Factory projects from Google's AI Platform to Google's Vertex AI. Leonardo also designed and developed a model-training-pipeline command-line tool for AI Platform and Vertex AI training pipelines.

Leonardo gained valuable experience as a Health Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, where they designed and developed a data-driven decision support system for consumers to make healthier food choices. Leonardo also worked as a Research Scientist at Autonomous Therapeutics, Inc., where they designed and implemented computational testing algorithms for viral culture control and developed stochastic models for predicting virus resistance to drugs.
