Paul Thomas

Paul Thomas has been the Chief Human Resources Officer at SEEK ASIA since December 2014. Prior to that, they were the Human Resource Director for the ASEAN Region at GE from January 2012 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for a team of 50 HR employees and had 12 direct reports. Paul's core deliverables included overall direction and leadership of 4 Centers of Expertise (HR Operations, Talent Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits and Learning & Development), success of all entry level and mid career Leadership Programs across the Region, management of cross business Talent Management activities, management of GE University Relations Efforts across the Region, and management of Labor Relations issues across the Region in close collaboration with country HR Leaders. Paul also established robust HR infrastructure in new markets in ASEAN, such as Myanmar, and managed HR aspects related to M&A and divestitures across the Region.

Paul Thomas has an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Hull and a B.Sc (Hons) in Biochemistry/Microbiology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
