Steven Melrose

Steven Melrose is an accomplished music executive with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as Head Creative at Seeker Music since July 2021, Melrose leads a creator-led rights management company focused on music publishing and artist development. Previously, Melrose held notable positions such as President at I Feel Love Music and Senior Vice President at Big Deal Music Group. Melrose's past roles include Co-Managing Director at EPIC Records under Sony Music and Vice President of Labels and A&R at Capitol Records, along with a founder role at Leftwing Recordings and Management. Earlier career highlights include co-founding City of Angels Records, where Melrose helped develop significant acts within the electronica movement in the USA. Melrose holds a degree in Business and Psychology from Edinburgh Napier University.
