Russell Katz

Russell Katz is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Katz Capital PTY LTD since February 2025. Katz has been a Contributing Writer and Podcast Host for Seeking Alpha since May 2012, including hosting the podcast Chasing the Elephant from 2017 to 2018, and regularly publishes financial analyses of companies and macro-economic trends. Prior experience includes Vice President of Corporate Development at Machai Capital from May 2024 to February 2025, Accounts Manager/Analyst and Markets Writer/Analyst at The Capital Network Pty Ltd from December 2022 to May 2024, and roles at Stake, Pitt Street Research, and ASX as an analyst. Additionally, Katz founded and served as CEO of Mod-Case LLC from March 2016 to February 2019. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Newcastle, completed between 2016 and 2019.
