Oury Chetboun has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Oury began their career in 1997 as a Trainee at Medtronic, where they worked as a Technology and Market Analyst. The following year, they took on a Traineeship at Schering Pharmaceuticals as a Project Leader for Business Development. In 1999, they became an Associate Vice President at BTG. In 2005, they moved to Genzyme as a Business Development Manager. In 2007, they were appointed as VP Corporate Development at Eurapharma. In 2009, they joined CMC Consulting Group as a Senior Partner. From 2014 to 2018, they were Head of Business Development and Licensing at Basilea Pharmaceutica International Ltd. In 2018, they became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of Seekyo Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing targeted therapy for solid cancer.
Oury Chetboun has a comprehensive educational background. In 1994, they earned a Master of Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University in the field of Immunology from the Pasteur Institute. In 1997 and 1998, they attended both Mines Paris and Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, respectively, and earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Technology Management. In 2007, they attended HEC Paris and studied Finance, General. Finally, in 2008, they attended IMD and studied Finance, General.
