Field Application Scientist at Seer

Nicholas Mucci, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience history. Nicholas is currently working as a Field Application Scientist at Seer since June 2022. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee from August 2017 to May 2022. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from August 2018 to December 2021. Nicholas taught various biology and biochemistry courses and was a guest lecturer.

Before their time at the University of Tennessee, Nicholas worked at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Nicholas was involved in greenspace analysis of existing trees for new construction from January 2017 to May 2017. Nicholas also completed a Life Science Junior Fellowship at the university from September 2016 to May 2017, where they conducted independent research using computational biology and organized a research symposium. Additionally, Nicholas served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Blanchard Lab in UMass Amherst from January 2016 to May 2017.

Nicholas Mucci, PhD has a strong educational background in genome sciences and genomics. Nicholas completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2017 to 2022. Prior to their PhD, Nicholas obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where they studied from 2013 to 2017.

In addition to their degrees, Nicholas Mucci has obtained several certifications throughout their education and career. Nicholas holds a Doctor of Philosophy certification from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they achieved in May 2022. Nicholas is also certified in CPR by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, earned in March 2015. Furthermore, they are an EMT-B certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, obtained in June 2015.
