Tianyu Wang

Tianyu Wang's work experience starts in 2014 as a Research Associate at Beijing Odyssey Chemicals Co., Ltd. and as a Research Assistant at Peking University. In 2018, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Associate Scientist. From 2019 onwards, Tianyu has been working at Seer, starting as a Research Associate and progressing to Research Associate II and Research Associate III. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Research Associate at Seer, where their responsibilities include participating in the design and development of biochemical experiments, assay development, troubleshooting, and generating SOPs for proteomic assays using technologies such as ELISA, HPLC, and mass spectrometry.

Tianyu Wang has a diverse educational background. Tianyu earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University, completing it from 2015 to 2017.

In order to expand their skill set, Tianyu Wang also obtained various certifications. These include certifications such as "Object-Oriented Data Structures in C++" from Coursera, "Hamilton VENUS Software Training I" from Hamilton Company, "Introduction to SQL Server" from DataCamp, "Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving" from SAS, "Exploratory Data Analysis" and "R Programming" from Coursera Course Certificates, "Microsoft Office Specialist Excel Expert 2016" from Microsoft, and "Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2013" also from Microsoft.

Currently, Tianyu Wang is pursuing further education at the University of California, Berkeley. Tianyu is enrolled in the Master of Information and Data Science program, specializing in Data Science. Their expected completion date is in 2023.
