Samantha Lichter

Samantha Lichter, PhD, is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in new product introduction and quality engineering. Currently serving as a New Product Introduction Engineer and Quality Engineer at Seer since May 2021, Samantha has previously worked at MiniFAB as a New Product Industrialisation Engineer, focusing on the manufacturing processes for point-of-care diagnostic cartridges. As General Manager at Skylark Legal, Samantha managed business and project operations for a boutique commercial law firm. Prior experience includes roles at Cochlear, designing manufacturing processes for new products at both the Sydney and Brisbane factories, and working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne, where Samantha developed a novel implantable packaging for high-resolution bionic eye implants. Samantha holds a Doctor of Philosophy in hermetic encapsulation of an epiretinal prosthesis from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Monash University.
