Josh Poat

Josh Poat has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field, beginning in 2014 as a Dinghy Instructor for the Isles of Scilly Sailing and Windsurfing Centre. In 2016, they completed a Mechanical Engineering Internship at OC Robotics. From 2019 to 2020, Josh worked as an Industrial Robotics and Automation Integration Engineer at Absolute Robotics. In 2020, they moved to Dyson as a Mechatronics Research Engineer, and in 2022 they began working at sees.ai as an Engineer, developing hardware and systems, as well as internal analytics and automation tools in Python.

Josh Poat obtained their High School degree from Truro School in 2014, following which they pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, which they completed in 2019.
