Matija Rossi, PhD

Matija Rossi, PhD has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Matija began as an Intern in the Research for Innovation Department at Loccioni in 2012. In 2013, they held the role of Chairman at the Mechatronics Student Society at the University of Zagreb and Visiting Researcher at Università Politecnica delle Marche. In 2014, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Limerick and a PhD Researcher at the Mobile & Marine Robotics Research Centre. From 2018 to 2020, Matija Rossi, PhD worked as a Senior Algorithms Developer for Autonomous Driving at Jaguar Land Rover and then as a Principal Computer Vision Engineer at Continental. Currently, they are a Senior Robotics Engineer at sees.ai.

Matija Rossi, PhD has a comprehensive education history. Matija obtained a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu in 2012, and a Master of Engineering from the same institution in 2014. Matija then attended Tallinn University of Technology in 2014, and subsequently obtained a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Limerick in 2018, specializing in Underwater Robotics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Boat Skipper from the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure; Republic of Croatia, Open Water Diver from NAUI Worldwide, and Personal Survival Techniques (PST) STCW-95 from NMCI Services - Global leaders in Maritime Training.
