Joshua Tappan

Joshua Tappan has a diverse work experience. Joshua is currently the Director of Marketing at Seesaw Learning, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Citrine Informatics, where they served as the Director of Marketing from July 2020 to January 2022, and as the Head of Community from October 2017 to July 2020. Before that, they were a Customer Advocacy Manager at Nearpod from January 2015 to October 2017. Joshua also worked as an Analyst, Seed Fund at NewSchools Venture Fund from June 2014 to January 2015. Additionally, they have experience working in product management at Socrative and as an 8th Grade Physical Science Teacher at Atlanta Public Schools. Joshua started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Lumenpulse Lighting Inc. and also worked as a Corps Member at Teach for America. Joshua has a background in Electrical Engineering and has completed a role at Northeastern University and Protonex Technology Corporation as well.

Joshua Tappan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. Joshua also holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Technology, Innovation, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
