Gillian Harrington has extensive experience in both the performing arts and compliance roles. Since March 2019, Gillian has held various positions at Seetec Ireland, including Quality and Compliance Specialist, Compliance Reviewer, Compliance Assistant, and Employment Advisor. Previous experience includes serving as a Personal Advisor at Turas Nua and as an actress and performer at artastic street theatre and StageCraft Ireland. Seetec works with individuals, employers and partners across private, public and not-for-profit sectors in Ireland, delivering employability and skill services that help improve lives, businesses and communities. Launched in Ireland in 2015, Seetec was appointed by the Department of Social Protection to deliver the JobPath service in Dublin, Border, and West regions and parts of the Mid-East and Midlands regions. The JobPath service helps people unemployed for more than one year and those deemed at risk of becoming long-term unemployed to find real, paid and sustainable jobs. Seetec also delivers the “Welcome to Work” programme, which is jointly funded by the Irish Government and the European Social Fund (ESF) as part of the Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning (PEIL) 2014 -2020 which is aimed at helping unemployed, legally resident migrants find sustainable employment. Seetec employs more than 250 people at almost 50 locations across Ireland.
