Dimitrios Lazarou (MSc) has a wealth of work experience in data science, machine learning, and astrophysics research. Most recently, they have been the Head of Data Science and Machine Learning Engineer at Seez since 2020. Prior to that, they were an Astrophysics Researcher at Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2020, a Data Scientist at Careem from 2015-2020, a Data Scientist at Signal Maritime from 2015-2020, a Quantitative Analyst at GoldenWater Capital from 2013-2015, and a Masters Student in High Energy Physics Experimental at CERN from 2012-2013. In their roles, they have leveraged ML techniques and analyzed datasets from telescopes, built prediction models using supervised and unsupervised ML, performed time series analysis and forecasting, and developed algorithmic trading models. Dimitrios Lazarou obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics from Florida State University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon between 2003 and 2007, and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Athens University of Economics and Business between 1998 and 2002.
