Tarek Kabrit

Tarek Kabrit has over 17 years of work experience in the venture capital and finance industries. Tarek began their career in 2003 as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. In 2007, they moved to Deutsche Bank as a Senior Associate. In 2008, they took on the role of Principal at Siraj Capital. From 2010 to 2013, they served as Director (Lebanon Fund Manager) at Abraaj Group. During this time, they also worked as CFO at Nymgo S.A (Abraaj and Intel Capital Portfolio Company). In 2013, they became a Venture Partner at Wamda Capital. In 2014, they were hired as Director of Strategy and M&A at Yahsat (Mubadala's Space Company). In 2016, they were appointed as CEO of Seez App, a role they held until 2020. Tarek is currently a Venture Partner at Nuwa Capital.

Tarek Kabrit completed an MBA from INSEAD in 2006 and an MSc in Finance and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2002.
