Jens Thieme

Jens Thieme is an experienced leader in communications and marketing, currently serving as the Head of Group Communications & MarCom at Sefar Group since February 2023. In this role, Jens is responsible for developing global, digital-first communication strategies for various stakeholders. Prior to Sefar Group, Jens held significant positions at Oerlikon, including Head of Group Digital Marketing & Communications and Co-Founding Core Team Member of the Oerlikon Digital Hub. Jens has also established a consulting practice at THIE.ME and held leadership roles in marketing and market intelligence at Lonza, BASF, Ciba, and Novartis. Jens's educational background includes a custom executive program at the University of St.Gallen and a short course at North Carolina State University.
