Evelyn Omala

Advisory Board Member at Segal Family Foundation

As former Director of Operations, Eve worked on the Segal team for four years. She now manages SFF’s impact investing portfolio and recently completed business school at Griffiths University.

Prior to joining the foundation, she worked as M&E Coordinator with Reach Out Mbuya HIV/AIDS Initiative. She was also a 2011-2012 Global Health Corps Fellow, working as HIV/AIDS Programs Officer with Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive (HIPS) in Washington, DC.

Eve graduated from Makerere University with a degree in Information Technology in 2007. She was awarded the Best International Project Award at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) students’ exhibition (East Africa, 2007) for the design of an innovative online tuition payment transfer system, enabling students to save time and money associated with making bank payments.
