Yvan Gatoto

Yvan is a Program Officer based in his hometown Kigali where he supports their partners in the Great Lakes region through Active Partnership and diligently scoping new rockstars for their growing portfolio.

Yvan has served in different roles across the region, creating an environment for innovators to scale their impact by providing them with tools, building networks, and connecting them to different investment opportunities. His experience spans several areas including youth development, business development, entrepreneurship, and social innovation advisory services. Yvan holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication systems engineering from the University of Rwanda, as well as a master’s in business administration with a special focus on international business and sustainable development from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
