Sarah La Pearl focuses her practice on toxic tort and complex commercial litigation. She litigates in state and federal courts, applying her advanced skills in oral advocacy, negotiation and writing to achieve optimal results for her clients.
Sarah brings a unique perspective and set of abilities to her work as a lawyer because of her diverse education. She takes an innovative approach to solve abstract legal issues.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Sarah served as an associate at a commercial litigation firm in Chicago. Her practice focused on contract and fraud disputes. While in law school Sarah served as an extern for Lawyers for the Creative Arts where she assisted artists with intellectual property legal matters.
Sarah earned her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law with Dean’s List honors. She was a recipient of the Praxis Certificate and vice-president of the Decalogue Student Organization.
Sarah holds a B.A. in Romance Languages and Literature from the University of Michigan. She spent a semester abroad studying Italian literature and art in Ferrara, Italy. She also spent one year abroad studying Spanish literature and art at the Universidad de Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
