Jeremy Hovater

Jeremy Hovater has over twenty years of professional experience in the financial services industry. Jeremy began their career in 1998 as a Credit Specialist/Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. In this role, they worked to ensure credit safety of large financial institutions and monitored the financial condition and credit risk of seven large financial institutions with assets totaling more than $350 billion. In 2004, they took on the role of Vice President at SunTrust Bank, where they implemented the new mandatory Sarbanes Oxley law and oversaw the compliance program for a $180+ billion organization. In 2006, they became the Regional Director of FirstComp Insurance, where they directed daily operations for the Southeast regional office and managed $314 million in written premium. In 2010, they became the Business Owner of Sunset Business Advisors/William Bruce Inc., where they performed Merger and Acquisition services and provided due diligence services. Most recently, in 2017, they became the CFO of Segers Aero Corporation, a World Class MRO with a global presence.

Jeremy Hovater obtained their BBA in Finance and Economics from the University of North Alabama between 1994 and 1998. Jeremy then went on to pursue an MBA from Georgia State University between 2000 and 2002. Jeremy concluded their education at Georgia State University by obtaining a Masters in Personal Financial Planning in 2004.
