Emily Neely has extensive experience in community engagement within the arts sector. Emily started their career at the Hopkins Center for Arts as an Outreach and Arts Education Intern and later took on the role of Front of House Manager. Emily then worked as a Residential Counselor at Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies before joining the Irvine Fine Arts Center as a Community Services Leader II. Since 2017, Emily has been with the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, starting as a Community Engagement Intern and progressing to Community Engagement Associate and then Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Community Engagement Director.
Emily Neely completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology and Studio Art from Dartmouth College from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended the Orange County School of the Arts from 2009 to 2013, where they focused on Visual Arts. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Certificate in Arts Management from UC Irvine in December 2021.
