Tim Dunn

Sr. Director, Public Relations at Segerstrom Center for the Arts

Tim Dunn has a diverse work experience in the field of public relations and communications. Tim started their career at ABC 10News San Diego | KGTV Channel 10 in 1973, where they held various roles including Traffic Director, Sales Production Manager, Acting Public Affairs Director, and Special Promotions. In 1991, they joined Opera Pacific as the Director of Public Relations until 1996. Following that, they worked as a Publicist at Davidson & Choy Publicity from 1996 to 1998. Since 1999, Tim has been with the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, initially serving as the Director of Public Relations and currently holding the position of Senior Director of Public Relations, with plans to retire in May 2021.

Tim Dunn attended St. Augustine High School from 1965 to 1969, where they pursued a College Prep curriculum. Later on, they attended Loyola-Marymount University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts.

The campus also embraces the facilities of two acclaimed independent organizations: Tony® Award-winning South Coast Repertory and a site designated as the future home of the Orange County Museum of Art. It is also the artistic home to the Pacific Symphony, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and the Pacific Chorale.
