Safety, Health And Wellbeing Specialist at SEGES

Marianne Norup has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marianne started their career as a Sub Officer at the Danish Emergency Management Agency in 1997, where they were responsible for training firefighters and managing emergency preparedness. Marianne then worked as a Physiotherapist at Buddingevej Fysioterapi from 2002 to 2003.

In 2004, Marianne joined Arbejdstilsynet as a Physiotherapist/HSE Inspector, conducting inspections on occupational health and safety and providing guidance on physical and psychosocial hazards. Marianne stayed with Arbejdstilsynet until 2017.

From 2012 to 2016, Marianne worked as a Call Center Team Lead at the National HSE Inspection, where they oversaw the administration and development of the national communication center on HSE requirements.

In 2017, they joined SEGES Innovation as a Safety, Health, and Wellbeing Specialist. Finally, in 2023, they became an Ergonomic Advisor and Sales representative at EXOSKELETTER_DK, contributing to raising awareness and promoting the use of exoskeletons for a better work environment.

Marianne Norup's education history starts in 1999 when they attended Professionshøjskolen Metropol - Metropolitan University College. Marianne completed their studies in 2002 and received a Prof. Bachelor degree in Fysioterapi/Terapeut. In 2011, they took a Diplommodul in Sundhedsfremme og forebyggelse: strategi, planlægning og implementering at University College of South Denmark. In 2012, they completed another Diplommodul at the same institution, this time focusing on Sundhedsfremme og forebyggelse: Videnskabsteori og metode. Finally, in 2015 they attended Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole and completed a Diplommodul in Kommunikationsledelse.
