Susanne Ejby Hansen has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Susanne started their career as an Export Assistant at SDC, Scandinavian Duplicating Centre A/S in 1990. Susanne then joined SDC DanDisc A/S in 1993 as a Key Account Manager, responsible for branding, marketing material, and key account management. Susanne later took on the role of Marketing and Key Account Manager, where they oversaw branding and corporate identity changes and managed international key accounts.

In 2001, Susanne joined Falck Securitas as the Head of Marketing, leading the marketing department and overseeing marketing strategy, budget, and campaign management. Susanne also played a role in product and sales strategy and conducted market analysis and competitor monitoring.

Susanne moved on to G4S Security Services A/S in 2006, where they served as the Head of Marketing and Communications. In this role, they led the marketing and communications department and was responsible for strategy, budget, branding, and crisis management. Susanne also played a role in market intelligence and managed advertising, media, and PR agencies.

From 2015 to 2017, Susanne worked as the Director of Marketing at the Danish Agriculture and Food Council. Here, they focused on marketing strategy and management.

Currently, Susanne holds the position of Director of Marketing and Communications at SEGES. In this role, they lead a business area with P&L responsibility and 45 employees across various departments. Susanne reports to the CEO and oversees events, communications, education, digital development, and marketing.

Throughout their career, Susanne has demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy, branding, communications, campaign management, and team leadership.

Susanne Ejby Hansen began their education in 1982 at Handelsskolen i Randers, where they pursued a degree in Economics, completing their studies in 1985. Susanne then went on to attend Handelshøjskolen i Århus from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration. Following this, they continued their education at the same institution from 1988 to 1990, earning a Master of Science degree in International Business. In 1986 and 1987, Susanne also attended the University of Cambridge, focusing on acquiring proficiency in the English language.
