Liz Banks Oaks

Liz Banks Oaks is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in public school finance. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Seguin ISD since April 2024, Liz has held similar positions at La Vernia ISD and Lamesa Independent School District, contributing to financial leadership from December 2022 to April 2024 and August 2018 to December 2022, respectively. Prior to these roles, Liz was the Business Manager at Miami ISD from November 2010 to July 2018 and worked as Office Administrator at Open Range Engineering Services, PLLC from April 2008 to November 2010. Liz holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor's degree from West Texas A&M University, along with additional education from Western Illinois University.
