Marc Baumbach has held various software engineering roles since 2005. In that year, they co-founded RadRails and worked as a Co-Op Software Engineer at IBM Rational. In 2006, they became a Lead Software Engineer at Bush Communications. In 2007, they returned to IBM as a Co-Op Software Engineer, working on the Rational Common Desktop Build team and Rational Application Sketching team. In 2008, they were an Advisory Software Engineer with the Rational Requirements Management team, developing tools that allow users to gather requirements through textual documents as well as mock-up user interfaces and storyboards. In 2014, they became a Software Development Manager at Oracle + Bronto, managing the front end engineering team and implementing the Bronto style guide. Finally, in 2017, they co-founded Segundo Software and became the Head of Engineering.
Marc Baumbach attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering and Communications.
