Karim Tawfik

Karim Tawfik has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Karim is currently working as the CFO at SEI Investments (Europe) Ltd since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Finance Director at SEI from May 2019. Before joining SEI, Karim was a Senior Manager at Crowe from February 2017 to April 2019. Karim also has experience as a Director at Sovereign Park Consultants Limited, where they provided advisory services on risk capital and ICAAP documentation. Karim has previous roles at Cofunds, where they served as the Head of Commercial Finance, Commercial Actuary, Finance Actuary, and Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. Karim started their career as an Actuarial Student at Old Mutual Group, followed by roles as a Financial Modelling Analyst at Skandia and an Actuarial Analyst at Selestia. Karim's earliest role was as a Systems Analyst at Xchanging.

Karim Tawfik, FIA, pursued their education in a sequential manner. From 1998 to 2001, they attended UCL, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics with Economics. Following this, they studied at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries between 2004 and 2010, obtaining the prestigious Fellow designation with a specialization in Life Actuarial.
