Gian Darms

Gian Darms is an experienced professional in natural hazards and risk management, currently working with Kanton Graubünden since September 2023. With a career spanning over two decades, Gian has held prominent positions including Course Instructor for Ski Patrol Formation at Seilbahnen Schweiz since 2015, and Head of Operations at TITLIS Bergbahnen from 2020 to 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing various mountain activities. Prior experience includes roles such as Head Customer Solutions at GEOPRAEVENT, Avalanche Forecaster at Eidg. Forschungsanstalt WSL, and GIS Specialist at bap-Ingenieurbüro. Gian possesses a Master's degree in Physical Geography from the University of Zurich, complemented by a Federal Diploma in Professional Education and Training as Ski Patrol Chief.
