Lanny Schnipper

Lanny Schnipper has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Lanny currently serves as the Vice President of Sales at Seiler Instrument & Mfg. Co. Inc., where they support the sales operations and contributes to strategic goals. Prior to this, they were the General Manager at BuildingPoint Mid-America, leading the formation of a start-up company focused on Trimble's Building Construction portfolio. Lanny has also worked at Trimble Navigation as an Inside Sales and Regional Sales Manager, responsible for sales growth within a 20-state territory. Lanny started their career at CompassCom Software as a Sales Representative and Mapping Manager, selling Trimble Mapping-Grade GPS units and managing sales reps in the field. Additionally, Lanny has experience in the non-profit sector, specifically with the Boy Scouts of America, where they held roles as a District Executive and Program Coordinator.

Lanny Schnipper has a diverse educational background and has acquired several certifications throughout their career. They attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2014 to 2019, where they completed an Advanced Management Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, they pursued a Certificate of Advanced Study in Geographic Information Systems at the University of Denver. In 1991, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Social Science from Florida State University.

In addition to their formal education, Lanny Schnipper has also obtained various certifications. They completed the Dale Carnegie Course, offered by Dale Carnegie Training, in 2004. Subsequently, they obtained numerous certifications from Dale Carnegie Training, including Executive Essentials and Executive Effectiveness in 2021, and Leadership Essentials and Leadership Effectiveness in 2023. They also obtained certifications such as All-In Culture Certified Facilitator from The Culture Works in 2014, Carew Certified Trainer - Dimensions of Professional Selling from Carew International in 2011, and participated in the Big Six Leadership Workshop offered by Level Five Associates in 2020.
