John Maxwell

John Maxwell is an experienced sales leader currently serving as the Global Vice President of Corporate Sales at Tanium since March 2017, following a distinguished 20-year career at Cisco Systems in various leadership roles, including Senior Director of US Commercial Security. At Tanium, the mission focuses on delivering manageability and security for connected devices, fostering collaboration between IT and security organizations. At Cisco, John led the CyberSecurity Sales Team, managing sales strategy and growth in the security sector while also overseeing teams for advanced technology and system engineering. Prior to Cisco, John held roles at CompuServe Network Services, American Airlines, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. John holds a BA in Business from the University of North Texas and has further education from The Wharton School.
