Krista Rintala

Krista Rintala has extensive experience in communications and journalism, currently serving as the Head of Communications for Seinäjoen kaupunki - City of Seinäjoki since May 2014. Prior to this role, Rintala was the Editor in Chief at Seinäjoen Sanomat from October 2008 to June 2014 and worked as a Project Manager at Botnia Information earlier in 2008. Rintala began a career in journalism as a Journalist for Ilkka-Yhtymä Oyj from March 2001 to December 2006, focusing on economic news and regional reporting. Additionally, Rintala held roles in sales and HR at ABB from September 1996 to March 2001. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Vaasa and a YAMK in media production from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
