Joe McEvoy

Joe McEvoy has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent position was as the Director of the SEIU 509 Public Sector Training Fund at SEIU EDUCATION & SUPPORT FUND, a role they began in June 2022. Prior to this, Joe served as the Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Planning and Development at Action Inc. from 2016 to 2022. At Action Inc., they played a key role in strategic planning, implementation, and resource development.

Earlier in their career, Joe held the position of Member of the Board of Directors at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem from 2016 to 2017, where they contributed to setting strategic direction and resource development of the organization. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Manager and Practice Lead at Cambridge Education from 2011 to 2016, leading a team of project managers and overseeing the delivery of services to school districts nationwide.

Following that, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Educational Policy with a focus on Education Policy Analysis from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, attending from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, they acquired a certification in ITIL V3 in September 2009, although the institution from which they obtained this certification is unspecified.
