Monica Livingston has extensive experience in union organization and advocacy, currently serving as an Internal Organizer for SEIU 1199NW since November 2012. Prior to this role, Monica worked as a Senior Collective Bargaining and Employer Relations Specialist at SEIU Healthcare 775NW, where responsibilities included negotiating union contracts and coordinating contract campaigns. Earlier positions include Director of Services at Spokane AIDS Network, providing leadership in direct services and prevention, and COPES Case Manager at Spokane Mental Health/Elder Services, advocating for clients with disabilities. Monica's career began as a Residential Case Manager at the YWCA, focusing on crisis counseling and education regarding intimate partner violence. Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Whitworth University and an Associate of Arts from Spokane Falls Community College.
