Neal Melton

Neal Melton is an experienced professional with a diverse background in research analysis and administrative management. Currently serving as a Research Analyst at SEIU UHW since April 2017, Neal previously held the same title at SEIU UHW from September 2009 to November 2013, where responsibilities included financial analysis and healthcare industry research. Concurrently, Neal has been the Administrative Officer 4 at UC Berkeley NanoLab since February 2014, overseeing financial and administrative management of a significant research facility. Neal's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Administrator at the Goldman School of Public Policy, where financial management of grants totaling approximately $12 million was overseen, and as a Contract and Grants Specialist at UC Berkeley focusing on research grants. Additionally, Neal served as a Moral Character Analyst for the State Bar of California and began a career in the United States Air Force as an Intelligence Operations Specialist. Neal holds a Bachelor of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.
