Rudolf de Keersmaecker

Rudolf De Keersmaecker is an experienced professional in the fields of disaster inspection, code compliance, and engineering. Currently serving as a FEMA Disaster Inspector with WSP Disaster Services since March 2016, Rudolf provides safety and cost inspections across the United States in the aftermath of disasters. As a Code Compliance Instructor with SEIU Local 1 since January 2015, Rudolf also instructs on viral and bacterial epidemiology. Prior to this, Rudolf founded Criterion Home Inspections, LLC, where services focused on residential and high-rise inspections from April 2015 to December 2019. Rudolf's extensive background includes teaching code compliance at the Illinois Inspector Training Institute and designing geothermal systems for Geothermal Specialist, Inc. as a sales and system designer. Earlier roles include serving as the Head Engineer at 1242 Lake Shore Dr. Corp from 1973 to 2015, where oversight of engineering, maintenance, and staffing contributed to the effective functionality of a high-rise building.
