A. Hakan Eken graduated from Marmara University Department of Business Administration and started his career as an inspector at Yapı Kredi Bank in 1986. Eken was a senior manager at Yapı Kredi Bank for many years, including vice chairman of the supervisory board, head of the credit-risk management department, chairman of the inspection board at Yapı Kredi Moscow, and Deputy General Manager for loans at Yapı Kredi Leasing, and later served as CFO and CEO in tourism and media groups. In September 2014, he joined şekerbank family with the role of Şekerbank Credit Monitoring Unit Manager, and then served as The Head of Credit Monitoring and Administrative Monitoring Group. A. Hakan Eken has been serving as The Deputy General Manager in charge of Şekerbank Credit Management since 19 December 2016.
