Raymond Pelsers has a diverse work experience in various roles. Raymond started their career as an Environmental Engineer at Kuwait Petroleum Europoort, where they supported the board of directors and line organization in environmental matters. Raymond ensured compliance with permits and legislation and discussed incidents with authorities.
In 2000, Raymond joined Sekisui Alveo and held multiple positions over the years. Raymond started as a Research and Development Engineer, where they focused on finding new raw materials and processes to improve foam product properties. Raymond worked closely with Sales, Marketing, and customers to meet market demands.
Later, Raymond became a Research Engineer, working on long-term research topics to develop new business opportunities and identify threats to current business. Raymond collaborated with Business Units and Business Research to define strategies for new business development.
Currently, Raymond holds the position of Project Leader for Raw Materials at Sekisui Alveo. In this role, they coordinate the raw material project portfolio and initiates projects for cost, contingency, or quality reasons.
Raymond Pelsers completed their VWO (pre-university education) from Bisschoppelijk College Schöndeln between 1987 and 1993. Raymond went on to pursue an MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 1993 to 1999.
