Neeraj K. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the decentralized sustainable and renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager Operations at SELCO India since May 2018. Previously, Neeraj held positions as Manager Operations at SELCO India and Project Management Coordinator at SELCO Foundation, focusing on providing solar energy solutions to unserved areas. Neeraj also worked as Cluster Programme Manager at LetzDream Foundation and Programme Officer at Samaj Pragati Sahayog, where the emphasis was on livelihood generation and bank linkage programs. Early career experience includes a Management Trainee role at the Textile Committee under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Neeraj holds a Master's Degree in Development Studies from Azim Premji University and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Delhi University, along with a strong foundational education in commerce and accounts.

Established in 1995, SELCO was co-founded by Dr Harish Hande. SELCO is a social enterprise working primarily in the area of decentralised renewable energy solutions in the rural geographies of India.
