M. Sonay Gürgen

Born in Konya in 1956, M. Sonay Gürgen completed his secondary and high school education at Konya Maarif College and received his undergraduate degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Business Administration and Finance. He started his professional career at Selçuk Ecza Deposu A.Ş. Gürgen, who started in the Istanbul Branch, worked in order preparation, accounting, sales and purchasing departments between 1977-1982. Between 1982-1993, Selçuk Ecza Deposu A.Ş. Gürgen, who served as the Manager of the Istanbul Branch, has undertaken the duties of the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of Selçuk Ecza Deposu since 1993. Gürgen currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Selcuk Pharmaceutical Warehouse. In addition to his duties at Selçuk Ecza Deposu A.Ş., As Ecza Deposu A.Ş., one of the Selçuk Ecza Holding group companies, Selçuk Ecza Holding A.Ş., Selçuklu Tourism and Construction Inc., Mamsel İlaç San. ve Tic. A.Ş and Tez Trans Lojistik A.Ş. as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Gürgen, who also serves as the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Ahmet and Nezahat Keleşoğlu Foundation, is the President of the Pharmacy Warehouses Association and the chairman of the board of directors of the İ.E & Menarini Group, apart from the group.
