Sherif Akoush

Sherif Akoush is an accomplished MLOps/LLMOps Lead at Seldon since July 2021, focusing on developing a next-generation model serving platform and building optimized LLM ops tools. Prior to this role, Sherif served as a Senior Software Engineer at Secondmind, where responsibilities included engineering production systems for machine learning products in finance and automotive domains. Sherif's experience extends to Arm, where capacity planning and data processing automation were crucial responsibilities as a Senior Engineer in Engineering Analytics. Additionally, Sherif contributed to significant research as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, leading a project on telecom data analytics in Africa. Early career experiences include working as a GIS Consultant at DotMap. Sherif holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
