Joanne Edwards

Joanne Edwards has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Joanne started their career in 1993 as a Medical Social Worker at Allegheny Health Network, where they worked until 1998. In 2001, they joined Select Medical as a Senior Director for Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals. Joanne has held this role since then.

Joanne Edwards obtained a Master's degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a focus on Clinical/Medical Social Work from Penn State University from 1978 to 1982. Additionally, they have certification as a Pennsylvania Licensed Social Worker (PA LSW) from the Commonwealth of PA Bureau of Prof and Occup Affairs since February 2017 and as a Certified Case Manager from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) since November 2013.
