Kevin Price

Kevin Price has a strong background in engineering and management roles. In 1990, they began their career as an Engineering Co-op Student at Georgia Power Company, where they worked until 1995. Kevin then joined Progress Energy as an Operations Manager from 2005 to 2008. Kevin continued their career at Progress Energy, becoming the Manager of Component Engineering and ROW from 2009 to 2012. Kevin then moved to UC Synergetic, where they served as an Engineering Manager/Director from 2012 to 2018. In 2019, Kevin worked at IMCORP as a Sr Applications Engineer and later as the Eastern Business Development Manager until 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they were the Electric Transmission & Distribution Manager at Gainesville Regional Utilities. Kevin then joined The DeSoto Group as the Vice President of Engineering from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Kevin is the VP of Engineering at SELECT Power Systems, and as of December 2022, they have taken on the role of a Professional Services Engineer.

Kevin Price attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 1993 and 1994, they also attended Augusta State University, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. In terms of additional certifications, Kevin obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2020.
