Mark Snook

Mark Snook serves as a Fire Prevention Specialist and Assistant Fire Coordinator at Sussex County Sheriff's Office, Division of the Fire Marshal since February 2025. In addition, Mark holds the position of Fire Official in Frankford Township, where responsibilities include conducting field inspections under the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code and Local Fire Code Ordinance. With over 17 years of experience at Selective Insurance, Mark has held multiple roles, including Facilities Project & Safety Manager and Plant Engineer. Mark has also dedicated time to the Wantage Township Fire Department, ascending through ranks from Captain (2005-2016) to Deputy Fire Chief (2017-2020) and currently serving as Fire Chief since January 2021. Mark's educational background includes a NJ State Fire Inspector and Fire Official degree from Camden County College and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Sussex County Community College, along with ongoing training in AutoCAD Essentials through Robotech CAD Solutions, Inc.
