Aj Chivetta

Aj Chivetta is the founder and CEO of Selequity. Aj has over 35 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic investments and initiatives. Aj has also worked extensively with companies on establishing foreign operations, managing supply chain issues, and expanding export sales.

Chivetta began their career at Armstrong Teasdale LLP in 1984, where they rose to the position of partner before retiring in 2018. During their time at Armstrong Teasdale, they served as chief legal counsel for one of the firm's largest clients and led the International Practice Group. Aj also managed China Alliance, a venture of four law firms with offices in Shanghai, Beijing, and Washington, DC. In addition, Chivetta was responsible for the firm's move to new offices, overseeing the selection of new space and negotiating the firm's lease.

Since founding Selequity in 2019, Chivetta has continued to provide expert guidance to companies on a wide range of legal and business matters. Aj is a highly respected figure in the corporate law community and their advice is sought after by businesses of all sizes.

Aj Chivetta graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and then went on to earn their Doctor of Law from Saint Louis University.
